School Day Schedule
Dear Parents and Carers,
I want to express my sincere gratitude to all the parents, students, and staff who took part in our recent consultation about potential changes to our school day structure. Your feedback has been crucial in guiding our decision-making process.
After thoroughly reviewing the responses and considering them carefully with the Leadership Team and governing body, we have decided to implement the following changes to the school day, effective Wednesday, 27 August 2025:
New School Day Schedule

8:15 am: Morning Bell

8:20 am – 8:50 am: Registration

8:50 am – 9:40 am: Period 1

9:40 am – 10:30 am: Period 2

10:30 am – 10:50 am: Period 3a
(Years 7, 8, 12 & 13 break) -
10:50 am – 11:20 am: Period 3b

11:20 am – 11:40 am: Period 3c
(Years 9, 10 & 11 break) -
11:40 am – 12:30 pm: Period 4
-
12:30 pm – 12:55 pm: Period 5a
(Years 8 & 9 lunch) -
12:55 pm – 1:20 pm: Period 5b
(Year 7 lunch) -
1:20 pm – 1:45 pm: Period 5c
(Years 10 & 11 lunch) -
1:45 pm – 2:35 pm: Period 6
New Finish Time:
-
2:35 pm – End of school day / Period 7 begins
Additional Adjustments:
We are currently working with the school bus company to adjust their arrival times. Further information will be provided in due course.
These changes are designed to enrich learning opportunities and align with government recommendations. We are confident they will positively impact the educational experience of all students.
