Operation Christmas Child

The Friends of Rodillian annual Christmas Gift & Craft Fair took place on Saturday 14th November 2015.  With lots of unusual gifts that aren’t available on the high street, there was plenty to choose from to get everyone’s Christmas shopping off to a flying start (or finish for those that are super organised!).  Stall holder Miss Yates, from the Rodillian English department, was there with her stall Liv & Sew, which attracted lots of attention from visiting students, whilst the ladies in the café were extremely busy ensuring everyone was fed and watered.

Another successful event by FoR and a fantastic day. The funds raised go towards various events, activities and resources to support the students.

Once again, Rodillian students have shown just how generous and thoughtful they are. After assemblies about Operation Christmas Child, over 90 boxes have been put together to provide a child somewhere in the world, with a Christmas box to open this year. Along side this, the Head Girl and Head Boy plus their deputies are organising donations from students which will go to the refugees who will be coming to Britain shortly.
