Maths Challenge Success

ukmtPupils at The Rodillian Academy achieved 2 gold, 6 silver and 12 bronze certificates in this year’s UKMT Intermediate Challenge. Over 200,000 pupils from across the UK sat the Intermediate Maths Challenge with roughly the top 6% receiving a gold certificate, the next 13% silver and the next 21% bronze. The Intermediate Maths Challenge is run by the UK Mathematics Trust and is aimed at those pupils in years 9, 10 and 11.

Achieving a bronze certificate were James Brady, Mackenzie Bell, Harriet Daley, James McCluskey, Eleanor Crow, Daniel Jones, Emmanuel Leo, Andrea Hepworth, Rachel Gilbert, Ellie Myers, Bethan Brooke and Olivia Morris. Silver certificates were awarded to Maisie Betteridge, Cameron Prescott, Hon Yin Lai, Molly Green, Christopher Elliot and Cameron Pattison. Congratulations to you all!

Extra congratulations go to Hayley Hodgson and George Kitson who secured gold certificates.

Molly Green has qualified for the international grey kangaroo competition and Hayley Hodgson has qualified for the international pink kangaroo competition. Good luck girls!
